Many people have been waiting till this day... the release of the new status page. The old one was getting old and was removed during some technical issues with the server, so we decided to make a new status page, and you can find the results of that on the new Status Page.
We have of course added the old features we used to have on the older status pages, but also made a few more to make it easier to browse and use the status page.
On the old status page many people did not see any point in gaining votes on the status page because it would not bring you to the top of the status page if you have the most votes unless your uptime was 100%.
To forcome this, we have now added an award system on the status page, if you have 100 votes you will have one star, 200 votes two stars and 300 votes three stars.
We have also developed a new system called "Vote Exchange" in the Server Control Panel, with this feature you will be able to exchange some of your server votes to uptime, lets say your server has 10 votes and 90% uptime, you can now exchange your 10 votes for 10% uptime, so you will have 100% uptime and ranked higher on the status page, but you will have 0 votes again.

Of course we did not forget our old Client-only feature, where you are able to hide your IP address and port if your server requires a custom client, and where you will be able to add your client link and details in the details page.

We are now making you able to have your own IRC chatbox for your server, by clicking on "Click" in the details field, you cannot miss it. (For site owners; please read the information on how to register your own chat, so you can manage the users in it.)
But that's not everything, we have also added a Edit Password page on the Server Control Panel where you can edit your password, please remind your password or write/save it somewhere, none of the RuneLocus staff members (including moderators and administrators) are able to view your password, which is being encrypted into the database.
We can only edit your password if you have enough proof that you are the actual owner.

Please be aware that the status page will not be as full as usual this week because it is restarting again.
You can expect many more servers in the upcoming week(s).
If you did not find any server you're wanting to visit yet, we'd like to advise you our forum or Top List.

After a month, or maybe even a bit more, Tico135 and I are done discussing about the current staff team.
After we lost a few staff members there was a serious need of a bigger staff team.
Therefore I'm not going to make you wait longer, here is the new staff list.

In the past weeks there might ever come a little change into this if there's coming something bad out of this, but for now we should be happy with these new moderators.

It's difficult to not notice the new changes to the homepage.
We have completely changed layouts as promised, and of course we've added a few nice effects such as the Show/hide all news button above.
But that's not the only thing we've done, it is now also possible to view a specific news item instead of having the whole list of news items.
You can go to this page by clicking on a news item's title, but can also go to it by clicking on one of the news items in the Latest Homepage News.

We have also added a "Did you know..." feature to the homepage.
This will display many interesting things about RuneScape, RuneScape Private Servers and RuneLocus that you might want to know.

Right now we have no idea when the Status Page is back.
As many of you know, we are developing a complete new status page with many new features profiting your private servers, but also making it easier for you to find other servers.
Until it's not back yet we advise you to use the Top List and Forums to advertise your server and find other servers.
